WKAT broadcasts 24 hours a day from a 395' tall, single tower located on Virginia Key, an island off key Biscayne, with an effective radiated power of 10,000 daytime/5,000 nighttime, As the first station licensed for the 1360 kHz frequency in Florida, our grandfathered signal covers South Florida from South Palm Beach County to the Florida Keys (including all of Broward and Dade), and extends out to the Bahamas.
